Patriot Press title a Finalist for Book of the Year Award

The editors of ForeWord Reviews have announced that the Patriot Press title Noble Cause by Jessica James is a Finalist for Book of the Year in the Romance category.

 According to the magazine, Noble Cause stood out among more than 700 publishers and 1,200 entered titles in this year’s awards program.

The Civil War novel, published in 2011, is also the winner of the coveted John Esten Cooke Award for Southern Fiction and the Next Generation Award for Regional Fiction.

ForeWord’s Book of the Year Awards program was designed for booksellers and librarians to share in the process of discovering distinctive books across a number of genres.

The 2011 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award Winners, as well as the Editor’s Choice Prizes for Fiction and Nonfiction will be announced at this year’s American Library Association conference in Anaheim, CA on June 23.
